In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I decided to make a video about the top things I’m most thankful for as a software developer. Looking back at my career of 10+ years, I can think of a lot of things that contributed to my success and development overall.

This video is meant to be more fun and light-hearted than educational, but I think as I reflect on my past experience and the things that I’m thankful for it will give you some insight on how you can get better at programming and develop into a proficient software developer.

So in this video I’m going to give three things that I’m really thankful for that really helped me out in a practical sense. At the end of the video, I’m going to give one thing that really helped me out from a philosophical standpoint and really helped me out in my mindset (…you might not expect the last one).
